Campaign Finance Rules

The Melinda Gopher for Congress 2010 Committee may accept contributions totaling a maximum of $4,800 ($2,400 for the primary/$2,400 for the general) from individuals and $10,000 ($5,000 for the primary/$5,000 for the general) from multi-candidate PAC's.

Please note that political campaigns cannot accept corporate checks. Your contribution (and/or payment of this credit charge) must come from your own personal funds, and not from funds provided by any other person or from any corporation, labor union, or national bank. Federal contractors may not contribute to political campaigns.

The Melinda Gopher for Congress Campaign Committee--2010 does not knowingly accept campaign contributions from people who are not United States citizens, registered federal lobbyists, or persons under the age of 18.

Federal law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in an election cycle. (November 2004 - Novemeber 2010)
Contributions are not tax deductible on federal income taxes.

All online contributors must confirm that the following statements are true and accurate. Check below to confirm your contribution complies with these FEC Rules:

I am not a federal contractor.

I am making this contribution on my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a credit card issued to anyone else.
